ADRENALINE COMES WITH 4 SEATS.

The ALL NEW BMW M4 CS.

In the tradition of high-performance vehicles originating from the BMW M3 Evolution of the E30 Series, the BMW M4 CS is a special model from BMW M. With just a limited production run available, the BMW M4 CS gene from the BMW M4 GTS is combined with the usefulness of a four-seat BMW M4 Coupé. With a host of innovative M technologies and efficient, lightweight carbon fibre components, the new BMW M4 CS can complete the legendary “Nordschleife” (North Loop) of the Nürburgring in just 7:38 minutes, without any sacrifice to its everyday practicality.

The BMW M4 CS front end

Remarkable dynamics.

The distinctive front end exudes athleticism through its flat double kidney grille with black-trimmed slats and characteristic double LED headlights. The three-part front apron with large air inlets highlights the dynamism and ensures efficient cooling for the six-cylinder, high-performance engine, as well as the M Compound brakes or the optional M Carbon ceramic brakes. The new model-specific front splitter — made from light-exposed carbon fibre — is road-legal and reduces front-axle lift for a dynamic driving boost.

The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine

Compelling power.

The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine makes super sports car performance possible. With 338kW and 600Nm torque, the high-performance engine accelerates the BMW M4 CS from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 280 km/h thanks to the standard M Driver’s Package.

The BMW M4 CS

Lightweight construction.

Innovative lightweight components characterise the athletic lines of the BMW M4 CS. The CFRP engine bonnet, as found in the BMW M4 GTS, is 25% lighter than the already weight-optimised aluminium bonnet of the BMW M4 Coupé. The slightly retracted CFRP roof is 6kg lighter than a metal roof and lowers the centre of gravity for excellent agility. Also made of carbon fibre, the Gurney flap on the rear spoiler substantially reduces rear-axle lift when compared to the M4 Competition Package.

As part of the BMW intelligent lightweight construction concept, the carbon fibre reinforced plastic roof helps to reduce the vehicle's weight and lowers the car's centre of gravity. This increases agility and dynamics when taking a bend, accelerating or braking.

Ten-spoke light-alloy wheels in Orbit Grey

Exceptional grip.

The ten-spoke light-alloy wheels in Orbit Grey were specially designed for the BMW M4 CS and are based on the design of the successful M4 racecar of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). The forged, weight-optimised wheels are standard for the series, and come equipped with mixed tyres: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 with the dimensions 265/35 R 19 are used up front with 285/30 R 20 in the rear. For even greater day-to-day usefulness, Michelin sport tyres with stronger profiles are also available as an option.

The BMW M4 CS rear

Characteristic rear.

The muscular rear of the BMW M4 CS is characterised by a spoiler with a Gurney flap made of exposed carbon-fibre. It reduces rear-axel lift to optimise driving behaviour, particularly at higher speeds. The M diffuser made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) provides an eye-catching finish to the rear. The M logo also appears on the stainless steel M double tailpipes of the sporty dual exhaust system on the BMW M4 CS. Like the BMW M4 GTS, the L-form rear lights utilise futuristic OLED technology, and fascinate with dynamic light animation and 3D effects.

“Dependent on conditions and usage, features specific to the materials used can lead to operational noises particularly in wet conditions just before the vehicle comes to a halt. The impact of moisture and road salt can cause the braking action to be equivalent to a conventional brake system. This can for a short time be experienced as a reduction in braking action and can be balanced out by greater pressure on the pedal where necessary.”

With 338kW and 600Nm torque, the high-performance M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine accelerates the BMW M4 CS from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 280 km/h thanks to the standard M Driver’s Package.

The exceptional driving dynamics of the new BMW M4 CS are not based solely on its sophisticated and powerful engine; it also stands out for its many high-performance components. Electromechanical M Servotronic steering, Active M Differential and an especially sporty M double-clutch transmission make for exceptional performance — on the road and on the track.

Specially tuned Adaptive M suspension allows for excellent agility, driving precision and everyday practicality. The three driving modes also enable the driver to adapt the suspension according to current road conditions and driving style.

SPORTY.

Thanks to the fine aluminium doorsill finishers with the M4 CS designation, the interior contributes to the athletic exclusivity of the BMW M4 CS, even before you get in. The M Alcantara steering wheel with exclusive, anthracite-coloured Alcantara and blue-red M stitching and the model designation at 12 o’clock is at the centre of the driver-orientated cockpit. You can also select the optional M leather steering wheel – all ensuring maximum grip in all driving situations. There is an unobstructed view of the round-format instruments in the typical M style. The fine, Alcantara trim is adorned with an eye-catching and exclusive CS designation.

The lightweight M Sport seats – like in the BMW M4 Competition Coupé – are covered with ‘Merino’ leather and Alcantara. They guarantee a snug, encapsulating feel for hard driving on the racetrack, but still provide for excellent comfort on long-distance trips. The interior of the BMW M4 CS is characterised by innovative lightweight components. The weight-optimised centre console weighs approximately 30% less than the comparable standard version, and is covered in Alcantara with dark grey contrast stitching. The ultra-lightweight door and side coverings and door-closing loop with M stripes provide the final characteristic touch to the ambience of this special edition vehicle.

3d light animation.

OLED lights.

The BMW M4 CS’ rear lights have been designed with futuristic lighting technology based on organic light-emiting diodes (OLED), which give an extensive and extremely homogeneous light. With their dynamic, 3D light animation, the rear lights lend to the width of the rear, and give a powerful and optically distinct appearance that is unmistakable, whether day or night.
