Through BMW Teleservices, your preferred BMW dealer receives detailed information from BMW regarding the condition of the vehicle, information which was previously available only through a workshop visit. This guarantees personalised service for your vehicle as well as a quick reaction in the event of a malfunction.
With the Automatic BMW Teleservice Call your BMW knows when a service is due. Through the Condition Based Service (CBS) sensors, the car identifies service requirements and automatically transmits all service-related data to BMW. Your preferred BMW dealer retrieves the data, is informed about the service need and vehicle status, and calls you to arrange a workshop appointment, if necessary.

In the event of a breakdown or technical malfunction, you can initiate the BMW Breakdown Call to get assistance, while the BMW Teleservice Update ensures that your mobile devices and media players are always well connected to your BMW. BMW Teleservice Battery Guard reliably keeps an eye on your battery day and night and informs you if the battery’s state of charge drops below a certain level.

This means you can avoid any starting issues or battery-related malfunctions − as your BMW can now monitor its energy supply itself. Keeping an eye on your battery – around the clock.

  • How the Automatic BMW Teleservice Call Works

    Condition Based Service (CBS) sensors constantly monitor fluid levels (e.g. engine oil) or wear-and-tear components (e.g. brake pads). If a service appointment is needed, your BMW automatically transmits all service-related data to BMW. Your preferred BMW Service Partner will call you to arrange an appointment, if necessary. Due to the accuracy of the data relayed, the service appointment can be prepared perfectly with all required components and spare parts – so the vehicle only stays at the Service Centre for a minimum time period. Forget about inflexible service intervals. You only drive to the workshop if you have to.

  • How the BMW Teleservice Breakdown Call works

    In the event of a breakdown or malfunction in your BMW, simply select BMW ConnectedDrive via the iDrive menu and the function Mobile Care. At the press of a button, you can transmit the current vehicle data to our Mobile Care specialists for evaluation. Our specialists are able to remotely diagnose your BMW as if it were in the workshop. With the help of an automatic voice connection our specialists will inform you about the condition of the vehicle and the next steps. BMW Teleservice Battery Guard stays activated until the next time you start your BMW. If necessary, your preferred BMW Service Partner will get in touch to arrange a service appointment.

  • Personalisation

    The Battery Guard functions are generally available as a basic service from BMW TeleServices. To receive a Battery Guard email, you only need to customise this service in the BMW ConnectedDrive portal by leaving email address. Registration and configuration on the BMW ConnectedDrive portal is a prerequisite to using the BMW Teleservice Battery Guard in its entirety.

    You have to activate and personalise BMW Teleservices on the BMW ConnectedDrive portal at www.bmw-ConnectedDrive.com.au in order to be able to use the services. It is not possible to use the BMW Teleservice Battery Guard without registering and configuring the service in the BMW ConnectedDrive portal. Transmission and receipt of emails are subject to cellular coverage and service arrangement with your network provider. Only applicable for BMW models from April 2014 production.   • What do I need to consider on vehicle resale?

  • How can BMW Teleservices be activated in the vehicle?

    By default, BMW Teleservices are already activated on delivery. If you have any questions about this, please contact your BMW Service Partner.

  • How can BMW Teleservices be deactivated in the vehicle?

    BMW Teleservices can be deactivated at any time. BMW Teleservices can only be switched off by a complete deactivation of the whole vehicle connectivity. This implies that the SIM card, installed in the vehicle, is also deactivated. Consequently the vehicle’s emergency call is inactive.
